MARTHA COAKLEY KO'd AT POLLS!! ( Or What?? the seats not mine , but isn't that's what entitlement means ?!?!!)

Was it her brazen sense of entitlement for the senate seat left vacant by Ted Kennedy's passing, aloof  mistakes like not being able to spell her  home state's name, or Coakley making the lamest of all lame brain statements  " I think we have done what we are going to be able to do in Afghanistan. I think that we should plan an exit strategy. Yes. I'm not sure there is a way to succeed. If the goal was and the mission in Afghanistan was to go in because we believed that the Taliban was giving harbor to terrorists. We supported that. I supported that. They're gone. They're not there anymore." . Perhaps a combination of all those that  seem  to reinforce not only  the general idea that Washington is out of touch with the rest of America ,but also the general attitude toward the voting populace coming from the Hill is full of condescension and disrespect!!

 Whatever the reasons it seems that Ms. Martha was better  at opening  cans of "whoop ass" on poor unsuspecting reporters than she was at  putting up her dukes at the polls. Scott Brown has won, and won solidly !  Solidly as a Republican with conservative leanings in a State that just doesn't vote GOP all that often (the GOP last won an open seat Senate race there in 1966). How's that for a statement!!  Well , the message has been sent. Now let's see how Washington will R.S.V.P.!!

 Remember the good old days? When the media asked a politician  questions they didn't want to answer . Then the politician would pull the old " Ronnie Reagan". You know avoid a tricky question by pretending you just went deaf!! My how times have changed !  For one  Democrat Senate hopeful it seems the preferred tactic to avoiding a tough question is to open a can of  " Whoop Ass"!!

  A Weekly Standard reporter says he was roughed up  outside a Washington, D.C. fund-raiser for Attorney General Martha Coakley by someone he believes is associated with her U.S. Senate campaign. John McCormack, the magazine’s deputy online editor, writes about the incident outside the Sonoma restaurant in an online dispatch entitled: “We Report, We Get Pushed.”According to McCormack’s account, Coakley took two questions from reporters after the event, but declined to respond to his question. McCormack wrote he asked Coakley whether she stood by statements she made during Monday’s debate about terrorists in Afghanistan. Read more here.......

R.I.P. TUSK II

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Tusk II, the live mascot of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, passed away on Monday at his home outside of Dardanelle, Ark. Tusk II died of natural causes and was laid to rest this afternoon on the Stokes Family farm.


Born Aug. 12, 2002, Tusk II served as the official live mascot of the Razorbacks in football from 2005-09. During his tenure, the Razorback football team posted a record of 35-28. His final appearance as Arkansas’ live mascot came on Saturday at the 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl. Arkansas defeated East Carolina 20-17 in overtime at Liberty Memorial Stadium in Memphis. In addition to appearing at football games, Tusk II made numerous annual appearances at other Razorback sporting events and functions.
